Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy explains how Joh News ("we", "us") handles information in connection with this website and our YouTube publishing tools.
1. Information we access
Our publishing tool uses the YouTube Data API Services to upload videos to
a single channel that we own and operate. Through Google OAuth we obtain an
access token limited to the youtube.upload and
youtube scopes. We do not access, collect, or store data about
other users or their channels.
2. How we use it
- To upload videos and set their title, description, tags and thumbnail.
- To check the status of videos we uploaded (for example, whether a video was removed or rejected) so we can correct issues.
3. What we store
OAuth tokens are stored locally on our own computer and are used only to authenticate our publishing tool. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties. We do not use Google user data for advertising.
4. Google API Services User Data Policy
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Data retention
Source video clips and intermediate files are automatically deleted after a short retention period (typically three days). Publishing metadata and the final videos remain on YouTube under our control.
6. Your choices
You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account's third-party apps with account access page.
7. Content and attribution
Videos may include short excerpts of third-party reporting for news purposes, with on-screen attribution and a sources list in the description. If you believe your rights are affected, contact us and we will act promptly.
